A Manchester United forward is committed to fighting for his place at Old Trafford under manager Ruben Amorim, despite speculation surrounding his future.
Ruben Amorim will be looking ahead to Manchester United’s return to Premier League action on Saturday against Everton at Goodison Park.
The Red Devils suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Sunday, adding further pressure on United boss Amorim.
United currently sit in 15th place in the Premier League table, having only managed eight league wins in 25 matches in the 2024-25 season.
The Red Devils’ hopes of a top-four finish are all but over, and lifting the Europa League title is their best chance of returning to the Champions League.
United are 12 points clear of the Premier League relegation zone, but 15 points adrift from the top four ahead of the Everton match.

Manchester United Striker’s Unwavering Commitment to the Club
According to reports, Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is ‘still committed’ to the Premier League club and wants to be a ‘regular starter’ for the Red Devils.
Rasmus Hojlund has struggled to find his scoring touch this season, netting only seven times in 32 appearances for United. The 22-year-old Danish forward has failed to score since his brace against Viktoria Plzen last December.
Hojlund arrived at Old Trafford in 2023 under former United manager Erik ten Hag, joining in a £72m deal from Serie A club Atalanta.
Despite his recent form, the reports indicate that there is no ‘suggestion’ that United are ‘open to a sale’ of the young striker. It is also noted that Leeds United are out of the race to sign Hojlund, with his wages ‘far beyond’ what they are willing to pay and a potential transfer fee being ‘too high.’
Amorim’s Backing of Hojlund
Speaking to reporters last month, Amorim defended Hojlund and felt that the United striker was not solely responsible for the team’s lack of goals.
“I think it’s a team problem. You can see it,” Amorim said. “It’s not just from now, it’s from the past. So, we have clearly a lack of goals and a lack of threat.”
Amorim went on to say that when the team started the season, Hojlund was the player who was always scoring, and he believes the forward can rediscover his goalscoring form in the next game.
